Diploma in Sport (Double)

The OCR Level 3 Cambridge Technical Diploma in Sport (Double) is a vocational / practical based course. It is designed to give students grounding into all areas of the sports industry. The course is designed to provide students with a broad understanding of the sports industry and the skills and knowledge required to pursue a career within the sports industry.

Technical Diploma is 100% coursework and takes up 2 of your subject choices. Sport focuses on the skills, qualities and attributes that universities and employers demand of our students. This is a practical based subject with students developing professional, social and interaction skills between peers, teams and organisations in the local community. In Lower 6 students will study a range of units including anatomy and physiology, physiology of fitness, sports coaching and current issues in sport.

In their upper 6th will study another 6 units including sports injuries, organising events, practical individual sports and work experience. At the end of their upper 6th students will achieve the equivalent of a 2 A Levels.
